The project was undertaken to help an established industrial facility in Ahmedabad reduce its growing daytime electricity consumption and make better use of its large, underutilized rooftop area. With manufacturing equipment operating primarily during daylight hours, rooftop solar provided a practical way to generate clean electricity at the point of consumption while reducing reliance on conventional grid power.
Following a detailed site assessment, our engineering team evaluated the available rooftop area, structural conditions, electrical infrastructure, shading patterns, and daily consumption profile of the facility. Based on these findings, we designed a 350 kWp rooftop solar system using high-efficiency photovoltaic modules and grid-connected inverter technology. The system was carefully planned around existing rooftop equipment, access pathways, and maintenance requirements. Installation was carried out in coordinated phases to maintain normal industrial operations and minimize disruption to the facility. After commissioning, the system was integrated with the site's existing electrical network and equipped with performance monitoring for ongoing energy generation and system health tracking.

The primary challenge was designing a large rooftop solar system around an active industrial facility without interfering with day-to-day manufacturing operations. The rooftop included existing electrical equipment, service areas, access pathways, and ventilation infrastructure that had to remain accessible after installation. The system also needed to make efficient use of the available roof space while maintaining appropriate spacing between module rows for maintenance and minimizing shading losses. In addition, the installation required careful coordination with the facility's electrical infrastructure and strict attention to rooftop safety during construction.
Our engineering team developed a customized rooftop solar layout based on the facility's available roof area, electricity consumption profile, and operational requirements. High-efficiency solar modules were positioned to maximize available generation while preserving essential maintenance and service pathways. A grid-connected inverter system was integrated with the facility's existing electrical network, allowing solar power to be consumed directly by the site's daytime operations. The installation was executed in planned stages to minimize disruption, with structural mounting, DC cabling, inverter installation, AC integration, testing, and commissioning completed under coordinated site supervision.
The completed rooftop solar system provides the facility with a dependable source of clean electricity during its primary operating hours. By generating power directly at the point of consumption, the installation helps reduce the facility's dependence on conventional grid electricity and supports better control over long-term energy costs. The project also makes productive use of previously underutilized rooftop space while contributing to the company's broader sustainability objectives.

The entire solar installation was handled in a very organized and professional manner. The team understood our operational requirements and planned the installation carefully so that our regular work could continue. The system has been performing well, and we are pleased with the overall quality of the installation and support.
